TRADITIONAL WORKSHOP

The Event:  EXPLORE THE HISTORY OF CLOGGING: TRADITIONAL, FLAT FOOT, & BIG CIRCLES!!!  THE Great Texas Hoedown in Austin, Texas at the First Baptist Church on October 22, 2022! This fun event, sponsored by the Texas Clogging Council, occurs only every other year, and is intended to explore the roots of clogging – focusing on old-time traditional clogging, flatfootin’, buck dancing, etc., and figures such as Southern Appalachian Big Circle, Kentucky Running Set, Country Hoedown, and other fun stuff.  (Yes, there will be some line dances, too)  All levels welcome, even beginners and non-cloggers!

The Instructor: Back by popular demand, Matt Koziuk from Florida is our instructor this year!  Matt is a master of both contemporary and traditional clogging.  His teams have won multiple championships and he is a national instructor as well as a certified judge.
