Instructor Bio

Debora’s been clogging since 1990 and teaching at workshops most of that time. She’s certifiable but has proof - she became a Certified Clogging Instructor with C.L.O.G. in 2002. She’s choreographed for college & HS theatrical performances, has taught clogging at HS & middle school classes as part of a PE course, and taught for people with disabilities. While she isn’t a fan of performing she does love to choreograph and teach anyone who’ll come. She started Contemporary Cloggers in the 90’s and although the name aptly describes the music to which she choreos (pop, rock, jam bands, oldies and of course bluegrass - with a twist), it doesn’t mean she lacks the traditional gene. Drag Slide is her middle name. She’s attended TCC board meetings since 1991, has served on various committees, is past president and current SW Vice President. Her motto - Dance is Love in search of a beat.
