Instructor Bio
Rhonda Butzke is avid dancer of many types, but clogging has been her focus since she began at the age of fourteen in 1986 with the Rhythm Cloggers of Houston, The next year, she began teaching, and has never stopped. Rhonda has instructed at numerous Texas clogging workshops, national square dance and clogging workshops. Rhonda has judged at many national level competitions, including the NCHC National Championships, and CCA National Championships. Since 1999, she has been the director of the award winning team, Yellow Rose. In the summer of 2004, she became a founding member/co-director for a state-wide competition team, T-Force. Rhonda also is the clogging program instructor for Dayton Academy of Dance. Currently she leads the Texas Leadership Program committee for TCC. Always interested in continuing her education, Rhonda is proud to be a Certified Clogging Judge with C.L.O.G. She is also active in her role as co-historian, with her husband, Bobby, for the Texas Clogging Council, and sits as the current president of that organization.
